Paris

Recap of yesterday: breakfast at camp! (btw camp is great! I was worried we'd all be miserable camping but everyone is really nice and its one of the most fun parts), bus than train to catacombs. Cafe for lunch, bus to notre dame, metro to musee d'orsay, metro to arc de tripmphe, back to camp to help with dinner (was kerry night) , then yummy French onion soup, pork chops, mashed potatoes and veggies. After dinner a bunch of people walked down to little pub to watch football match but I was so tired I stayed behind to shower and call mommy. LOL called mom got off phone with her saying I was going to take a shower and promptly fell asleep with phone still in hand (showerless) LOL woke up at 11 ish when Kerry came in (came back early to get sleep) took shower then (bad idea because it was freakin freezing and then my hair was wet so got even colder) LOL woke up this morning at 6. (way too early, helped with breakfast, packed took down tent ate croissant
with Ham and cheese and now on road to Lyon :-) love and miss you guys
Btw kerry blog user name is kerry_and_kris (if that applies to you)

Love you, Ashley!

Dear Ashley, I wrote you a nice long letter this morning and the computer ate it, Grrrr. It didn't go through. I'll try again, but fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, this will be much shorter. Nothing very exciting here. We are still working on Mike and Tara to convince them to go away to school. Tara wants to go, but Michael, not so much. The thought of my ninety year old parents moving in and sharing a bathroom with them is scaring them quite a bit. Love the updates. We loved France (in spite of my English heritage). You are seeing so much more than we did. Do you think Pop Pop and I could pass for 25 so we can go next year? Love forever, Mom Mom

We are loving the updates. Maya loves looking at all the exciting pictures of her favorite cousin...she's now asking to look at Ashley pictures every morning. I'm glad that you are with a group of kids who want to have a wonderful experience just like you. It sounds like you are really busy. We miss you but are glad you're experiencing different cultures and seeing the world.

Sounds very cool, love all the updates. I'm traveling Europe vicariously! Can you post pictures of the camp/tents/food setup? I'd love to see that. And the bus. Do you guys do campfires and the like? Is there a lot of drinking in the camp? Not that I'm worried out of my head for your safety . . . .

Ashley - Please don't go more than 24 hours between updates. Your father cannot handle a delay that long.
